The Astra Modelo 200 is a compact, Spanish semi-automatic pistol in caliber 6.35 mm Browning, produced by Asta Unceta y Cia in Guernica, Spain. It was developed in the 1920s and remained available until the 1950s. The Astra M200 was designed as a compact, reliable self-defense weapon and was produced for both the Spanish market and for export. Its design strongly resembles other pocket pistols of the time, particularly the FN 1906 and its many copies. A distinctive feature of Astra pistols was the high quality of workmanship compared to other Spanish manufacturers, which secured them a certain popularity in the international market. The M200 was a typical "Vest Pocket" pistol, making it easy to carry concealed. This Astra received a Spanish proof mark in Eibar from 1923 - 1929.
