The hybrid repeater, whether for the hunter or the sport shooter. The Sako S20 adapts perfectly with its versatile modularity. A solid steel system with a machined Picatinny rail and V bedding in a continuous aluminum frame are the core of the S20. In combination with the legendary cold-hammered Sako barrels, impressive precision is achieved. All S20 models are equipped with a 5/8×24UNF thread. Length starting at 103 cm, weight starting at 3.5 kg. The new Sako S20 is the first true rifle that both hunters and precision shooters will appreciate. It is designed for users who want to take and maintain control in any situation. The S20 is truly a future-proof repeating rifle.

Through the two-part rear and front stock of the SAKO S20, individual preferences of the shooter can be accommodated by appropriate interfaces and the loosening of two screws. A sporty precision rifle stock and a hunting stock with a thumbhole are available for selection. The change between the stocks is quick and easy, allowing the SAKO S20 to be transformed from a sporty precision rifle to a hunting rifle or vice versa in just a few minutes. Inside the SAKO S20 stock is a chassis made of aircraft aluminum that absorbs all recoil forces.

Thumbhole/Hunting Stock
The thumbhole stock with height-adjustable cheek rest and adjustable stock length through spacers has been developed with the highest shooting comfort and outstanding ergonomics in mind. The fore-end is designed for use in a variety of hunting conditions. Its integrated, soft, leather-like grip surface is made of high-quality plastics and provides optimal grip in any weather. The quickly detachable sling swivel studs on both sides of the stock allow for optimal attachment of the carrying strap, thus improving the handling of the weapon.

Solid System Bedding of the S20 Series
The steel receiver with integrated optics mounting rail on both bridges and an internal cylinder lock with three locking lugs rests on a V bedding system made of lightweight metal in the stock. Inside the system housing sits a cold-hammered barrel, optionally with fluting, in lengths of 20"/508 mm or 24"/610 mm. The trigger, which can be adjusted in a weight range of 1,000 to 2,000 g, can be repositioned backward by 3 mm or forward by 4 mm using an Allen key. This refined trigger unit is combined with a firing pin safety.
