The firearms manufacturer German Sport Guns, also known by the abbreviation GSG, produces various small caliber firearms under the Mauser license, including the Mauser M20, Mauser 1911, and Mauser M15.

The semi-automatic Mauser M15 features a modern tactical design in full-size. The self-loading rifle manufactured by GSG guarantees plenty of fun. The Mauser M15 semi-automatic rifle fires rimfire cartridges in .22 LR caliber. Small caliber firearms are perfect for hunting small game and plinking, as the costs for ammunition do not skyrocket.

The .22 LR semi-automatic rifle also stands out due to the materials used. The upper receiver of the Mauser M15 is made from CNC-machined aluminum, while the lower housing is made from fiberglass-reinforced yet lightweight plastic. The charging handle can be set on both sides in 3 freely selectable positions. The manual safety is also operable from both sides. You thus receive a weapon suitable for both left-handed and right-handed shooters. The barrel of the small caliber sport shooting rifle is a highly precise hammer-forged barrel, making it ideal for sporting use. The rifle barrel of the Mauser M15 is 16.3 inches long. A sound suppressor mock-up is screwed into the barrel of the Mauser M15.

The sliding stock is adjustable for an optimal fit. Aiming with the Mauser M15 is also lightning-fast via the detachable flip-up sights, or you can use the included red dot sight. Front sight adjustment is also possible here. On the Picatinny rail on top, you can also mount another sight, such as a red dot sight or a scope, as desired. A Picatinny rail is also attached under the fore-end for a pistol grip or a bipod. The two-stage metal trigger is perfectly tuned to the included 110-round drum magazine.

To ensure smooth and safe operation of the .22 LR rifle, it is necessary to use .22 LR ammunition (small caliber ammunition) with an extra strong load. Such .22 LR ammunition is referred to as "HV," which stands for High Velocity. The higher speed of the .22 LR HV ammunition ensures that the projectile has greater kinetic energy, leading to improved ballistic performance. This positively affects the precision, trajectory, and penetration power of the projectile.

The Mauser M15 Tacops is a semi-automatic weapon that does not have a positive classification notice from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and therefore cannot be purchased by sport shooters. However, for hunters, acquisition is possible with a valid annual hunting license.
