The ERA® SILENCER was developed with the aim of achieving the best possible suppression with a compact design and minimal weight – all while being fully Magnum-compatible and having a long lifespan. The most important requirement for a silencer in hunting use is to effectively suppress the muzzle blast to protect the hearing of both humans and dogs. The suppressors of the SOB series are designed as telescopic silencers (Over-Barrel). A part of the suppressor extends backward over the barrel, allowing for very good suppression values to be realized with a short net length. Additionally, the typical first shot noise found in other silencers is reduced to an absolute minimum. Recoil and muzzle flash are also significantly diminished.
