The M-LOK adapter is mounted directly into the slots of an M-LOK forend. For additional stability, the adapter is inserted into one and a half M-LOK slots and secured with 3 screws. On standard M-LOK forends with Picatinny top rail, the M-LOK mount can only be used in the 6:00 position. When used on an M-LOK forend with M-LOK slots on the top, such as the latest version of the Ruger Precision Rifle, the M-LOK adapter can be used in the 12 o'clock position. To do this, the limit screw for the tilt angle in the pin simply needs to be repositioned.
