IGB steel adapter for recoil spring guide rod from Gen3 Glock to Gen4 Glock. This adapter was specifically designed to adapt Gen3 recoil spring guide rods to Gen4 slides and still allows the use of different spring strengths for the Glock Geb4 pistols. Many professional shooters adjust the spring strength to the ammunition and the slide/barrel length. This helps to avoid case jams and ejection problems. This is especially true for compensator barrels and longer barrels (e.g. IGB carbine barrels). This steel adapter ring can be used with all (including the original plastic recoil springs of Gen3).
