With the "WOLFF GUNSPRINGMAKERS" Tune Spring Kit, you can customize your revolver to your personal trigger needs without spending much money or requiring craftsmanship. You only need a suitable screwdriver and 15 minutes of time. Replacing the hammer spring (=leaf spring in the frame under the grip panels) allows you to achieve a significantly lighter and more pleasant trigger pull when shooting DA (double action - pulling through or shooting without cocking the hammer first). The trigger pull weight is reduced by about 40%! Additionally, you protect the firing pin and hammer from excessive strain caused by the strong original springs. With the 3 trigger springs (=the spring that is in the return slide, directly behind the trigger), you can individually adjust the actual trigger weight when shooting normal SA (single action - cocking the hammer, then pulling the trigger). The lower the chosen spring strength (marked with #13, #14 & #15 lb), the lower the trigger resistance. With the weakest (#13 lb) spring, most revolvers, based on our experience, release at about 1250 grams trigger weight.
