Mark III - PistolsThe construction of the Mark III differs significantly from conventional pistols. The barrel and the slide housing are firmly connected to each other. Both are in turn connected to the grip. Only the slide (chamber) is movable, similar to a self-loading rifle. This results in high reliability, operational safety, and a long service life. If you want to use a sight, no problem: All Mark III pistols are pre-drilled for a Weaver rail, which is included. You just need to remove the filler screws and can screw on the rail. The sight does not need to be removed for this (see RU10101). The operation resembles that of a conventional large-caliber pistol with a slide catch lever and magazine release button on the left side. The height and windage adjustable sight is mounted on the rigid slide housing. This ensures consistent precision. The various barrel lengths range from 4 1/2 to 6 7/8, and in addition to stainless steel versions, there is a version in blued.
