With this mirage band the waiting times for barrel cooling are finally a thing of the past. Our luxury class mirage bands, made of heavy, durable Codura fabric with 40 cm of Velcro surface, allow for an enormous adjustment and adjustment range. A reinforced, replaceable rubber band on the back (scope rail) ensures a tight, distortion-free fit and keeps the mirage band taut over its entire length. This mirage band is designed for mounting between a Weaver or Picatinny scope rail in conjunction with a muzzle brake such as Ebi-Arms muzzle brakes (see picture). For practical and UNIVERSAL mounting, we provide you with a UNIVERSAL BACKMOUNT KIT for easy rear attachment to the scope bases! It shields heat waves, the so-called FLIMMER, of the heated air that arise from multiple shots through the hot barrel and impair the sighting. Especially when using telescopic sights, a mirage band is essential for precision and sniper shooters. Any target beyond 50 meters becomes almost impossible to hit after a few shots due to the heating of the barrel and the resulting mirage.
