Retrofit thermal imaging device
In the high-tech industry, components and software solutions are improved every year. Thermal imaging technology is no exception. Over time, the selection criteria and preferences of users also change. Furthermore, they have developed their own requirements for the performance and operation of the device. Thus, technology and user requirements were at the forefront during the development of the Telos thermal imaging monoculars. Telos is the first product line of thermal imaging devices on the market that can be technically retrofitted at the customer's request. Become the owner of the Telos and gain the opportunity to flexibly and profitably upgrade it over the years. Upgrade it with powerful optics, a higher resolution sensor and display, more efficient electronics, and additional features. Or complement the thermal imaging device with a laser rangefinder and additional optical channels. This way, you will always have the latest model, incurring only the costs for the retrofit.
Highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor
The extremely sensitive thermal imaging sensor with a NETD value of <18 mK ensures impressive thermal image quality and perfect detail recognition even under the most adverse weather conditions when the thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences become clearly visible in rain, fog, or cold morning hours, thus under the most challenging conditions for the thermal imaging camera.
Advanced Pulsar Image Boost technology
Pulsar Image Boost gives the Telos thermal camera the highest level of detail richness, clarity, and contrast with a range of original image processing algorithms. Telos thermal monoculars reproduce complex scenes in a wide range of shades with evenly radiant, low-contrast objects such as sky, grass, and water surfaces. Through software detailing and sharpening of objects at various distances, the thermal image becomes very rich in information. The manual sensitivity increase of the thermal imaging sensor improves the quality of animal detection when observation conditions deteriorate. A smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings allow for comfortable observation over extended periods.
Lens ring zoom control
You can ideally adjust the image in the Telos with one hand – the rings for focusing and smooth zoom are located on the lens in the classic arrangement, one after the other, as with professional camera lenses. The even arrangement of the rings allows for quick and low-effort acquisition of a clear image with the desired magnification.
Precise laser distances up to 1,000 m
The correct assessment of the distance to the target object is a crucial factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows for distance measurements in single measurement and continuous measurement mode with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for a quick and error-free assessment of the situation.
Built for the toughest conditions
Telos thermal imaging devices are designed for use in harsh outdoor environments and in temperature ranges from -25 to +40 °C. Thus, the thermal imaging device is waterproof, even when fully submerged in water. The rubber-coated housing made of polymer composite material provides the best operating characteristics. The design without protruding parts and the ergonomically optimal housing shape of the Telos thermal imaging devices contribute to safety and comfort during prolonged use.
Replaceable battery with direct outlet and wireless fast charging option
The brand new LPS 7i quick-change Li-ion battery guarantees a runtime of more than 8 hours. The LPS 7i does not require special chargers – simply connect it to any power adapter via the USB Type-C port and charge it in no time using the Power Delivery fast charging protocol. Additionally, the LPS 7i battery supports wireless charging.
Ergonomic, non-slip, rubber-coated housing
The rubber-coated housing ensures that the thermal imaging device sits securely in hand both in dry weather and in rain. The housing is extremely wear-resistant and perfectly withstands extreme temperatures as well as the effects of dust and moisture during use. It also protects the device in case of falls. Furthermore, the housing is easy to clean and retains its original appearance for a long time.
Customizable for left and right-handed users
The vertical, symmetrical arrangement of the controls allows the Telos to be operated with both hands with equal comfort – the buttons are arranged in a row on the top, and the lens rings are used for focusing and changing magnification. The hand strap is attached to the movable rings and fixed in the end positions, making the thermal imaging device immediately suitable for both right and left-handed users.
Ergonomic and functional transport bag
A hunter must be able to move quickly. Good equipment is characterized by being available when needed and invisible at other times. The Telos bag has an elegant exterior, is user-friendly, and comfortable to carry. The thermal imaging device can be quickly and easily removed and positioned. The optimal strap positioning distributes the weight of the thermal imaging device across the hunter's body, relieving the shoulders, back, and neck. The cover fits snugly against the body without hindering the hunter's ability to bend, turn, crouch, move cross-country, and use weapons freely. Additionally, the Telos bag is equipped with straps that allow it to be attached to a hip belt as well as to equipment with a modular Molle attachment system, including backpacks and carrying straps.
Customizable user interface
The Telos thermal monoculars feature advanced functions. However, the prioritization of a specific function is the privilege of the user, who determines the order of individual functions in the device's operating menu.
Observation distance
The light-sensitive lens F50/1.0, in conjunction with the professional sensor 640x480@17µm, offers excellent opportunities for detecting the target object. An object of standard size 1.8 m can be detected in absolute darkness at a distance of 1,800 m.
Light-sensitive lens F50/1.0
The properties of the thermal imaging optics have a decisive influence on the ability of a thermal imaging device to capture thermal radiation at the lowest radiation levels. In combination with the highly sensitive sensor, the light-sensitive lens of the Telos thermal imaging device (F50/1.0) provides maximum detection efficiency. In rain or fog, when the temperature contrast of the observed objects is minimal, the Telos always delivers a very high-quality, detailed, high-contrast, and informative image to the user.
Built-in video recorder with 32 GB internal storage
The Telos has a built-in video recorder, and the internal storage of the thermal imaging device can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. A single press of a button is enough to photograph an interesting subject or start a video recording.
Stream Vision 2: Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
The integrated Wi-Fi connects the Telos via the mobile application Stream Vision 2 with Android and iOS smartphones. This opens up a variety of possibilities such as wireless software updates for the device, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, publishing photo and video content captured with the device on social media, or transferring to messenger applications, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Additionally, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos taken with the device.
Support for two Wi-Fi frequency bands 2.4 / 5 GHz
The Telos supplements the frequency range of the standard smartphone connection over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel with an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rates, immunity to noise, and improved connection stability, leading to more productive and easier operation of the thermal imaging monocular with a smartphone.
High-contrast AMOLED display
The high-contrast AMOLED display provides improved color reproduction, is energy-efficient, and responsive, delivering sharp and fluid images even in frost.
8 color palettes to choose from
With a selection of 8 color palettes, the user can better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks, and respond to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for detecting an object, while Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for long observations at night.
Waterproof according to IPX7 (submersion)
Waterproof according to IPX7 to protect against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation: The device is designed to function perfectly even after being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Wide operating temperature range (from -25 to + 40°C)
The housing, battery, optics, and electronics of the Telos are designed for use in a wide temperature range. The Telos ensures reliable and effective performance in freezing cold down to -25 °C.
