Light and compact
The Merger LRF XQ35 is as compact as a classic daytime binocular and ideal for stand hunting. As the lightest device in the series, the Merger LRF XQ35 is suitable for stalking and driven hunts. Thanks to its balanced weight distribution, this binocular sits well in the hand and allows for comfortable and fatigue-free observations, even from uncomfortable positions.
Classical design
The Merger LRF thermal imaging binocular is designed in the classic style of a daylight binocular. With its small form factor, this thermal imaging binocular fits comfortably in the hand while still offering an aesthetic exterior and exemplary ergonomics. The six function buttons are easily accessible, and the most commonly used digital functions are activated with a single touch.
Highly sensitive thermal sensor from European production < 25 mK NETD / 384x288 pixels @ 17 µm
The Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with the highly sensitive Lynred sensor made in Europe < 25 mK NETD. Even under difficult observation conditions, when thermal image contrast is low, it receives a signal. Even the smallest temperature differences are clearly visible at the observation site in rain, fog, and high humidity.
Distance sensor for unnoticed use
Observing in darkness requires the dimming of all light sources so that hunted animals are not startled. The "screen off" function in standby mode is a common method to prevent light from the screen illumination from escaping through the eyepieces. To simplify this task, the Merger LRF has a built-in distance sensor. It acts as a screen switch to prevent light from the screens from escaping in darkness. When the device is removed from the eyes, the distance sensor turns off both screens, and when the device is brought closer, both screens turn on, providing excellent image quality.
User mode
Use the brightness and contrast settings to maximize detail accuracy and the expressiveness of the image under specific observation conditions. With the "User Mode" function, you can save the selected brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory. This way, you benefit from optimal image quality during the next use of the thermal imaging camera without requiring additional adjustments.
Rugged magnesium alloy housing
The Merger LRF is designed for constant, often harsh use. The magnesium alloy housing is both lightweight and stable. It reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, and cold. At the same time, the metal housing effectively dissipates heat from the electronics, increasing the stability of the device's operation during long-term observations.
Precise laser range measurements up to 1,000 m
Accurately estimating the distance to the target object is a crucial factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows for distance measurements in single and continuous measurement modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for quick and error-free assessment of the situation.
Combined dual battery system
The Merger LRF operates with two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah and one replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A long operating time is guaranteed with a single charge. On the outside of the replaceable battery, there is an imprint for accurately determining the correct position. This allows for quickly and safely replacing an empty battery with a new one in complete darkness by touch.
3-stage sensitivity enhancement
The selection of the signal amplification level combined with new filter algorithms with fine brightness and contrast settings offers the hunter great opportunities for long-distance observation under various weather and temperature conditions. The amplification setting helps define the trophy characteristics of animals and ensures a clear representation of objects and background in the field of view.
Built-in photo and video recorder
The Merger LRF has a built-in video recorder. The internal memory of the Merger LRF can store hours of video footage and tens of thousands of photos. A single button press is enough to photograph an interesting subject or start a video recording. The recordings can be copied to a computer hard drive via a USB-C connection. Additionally, 16 GB of storage space is available to store photos and videos taken with the Merger LRF in the Pulsar Cloud storage. Simply install the Stream Vision 2 mobile application, sign in, and connect the device to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.
Remote control via smartphone and software update with the Stream Vision 2 app
The integrated Wi-Fi connects the Merger LRF thermal imaging binocular to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This opens up a variety of possibilities such as wireless software updates for the device, real-time image transmission from the device to the smartphone screen, sharing photo and video content captured with the device on social media or transferring to messengers, remote control of digital device functions, and access to the latest news from Pulsar. Additionally, registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage for photos and videos taken with the device.
Pleasant observation experience
The optical design of the Merger LRF binoculars is fully adapted to natural vision. A person typically receives visual information through two visual channels simultaneously. Moreover, observing with two eyes is less tiring than with one eye. Accordingly, the binocular Merger LRF XQ35 offers better detection of small or weak objects and better performance in low-contrast scenarios compared to similar monocular thermal imaging devices at the same technical level. The eye distance of the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm to accommodate the individual requirements of each user.
Large aperture lens F35/1.0
The F35/1.0 germanium lens offers high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Thanks to the high-precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image produced by the sensor of the Merger LRF XQ35 thermal imaging device is characterized by its clarity and detail accuracy.
Support for two Wi-Fi frequency bands 2.4 / 5 GHz
The Merger LRF thermal imaging cameras complement the frequency range of the standard smartphone connection over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel with an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rates, interference resistance, and improved connection stability, leading to more productive and easier operation of the thermal imaging binoculars with a smartphone.
High-contrast HD-AMOLED display
The new AMOLED display with a HD resolution of 1,024x768 offers improved color reproduction, low power consumption, high contrast, and fast response times. It also delivers clear and uniform images when observing in motion or in cold conditions.
8 color palettes to choose from
With a selection of 8 color palettes, the user can better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks, and adapt to changing observation conditions. White-Hot, Black-Hot, and Red-Hot are optimal for object detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of detection and identification. Red-Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for long observations at night.
Waterproof according to IPX7
Waterproof according to IPX7 to protect against heavy rain, snow, or other moisture influences: The device is designed to function perfectly even after being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Operation at extreme temperatures -25 to +50 °C
The housing, batteries, optics, and electronics of the Merger LRF are designed for applications in a wide temperature range. The Merger LRF ensures reliable and effective performance in icy cold down to -25 °C.
