Mauser Karabiner Persien Kontrakt Modell 98/38 - Schah Auftrag.
8x57IS, valid proof. These carbines are of the highest quality and were purchased from a depot in the 80s and brought back to the market here.
Almost as new condition except for a few pressure marks on the stock. Stock with original finish, (shellac?) - not like many, sanded and cobbled together. Deeply and clearly marked on the butt with Farsi, as well as on the opposite side with remnants of depot inventory.
5 round integrated box magazine with white polished steel follower.
Barrel bright. Medium brown walnut stock with pistol grip and low steel cap. Marking in Farsi. High, light-permeable front sight, tangential sight with roof sight and V-notch.
Swivel mounts front and rear. Bayonet holder. Original cleaning rod.

Used firearm with age-related scratches and stains possible, pictures are part of the description, errors excepted.
