The Bockdoppelflinte Forest Favorit “Jagd” features a stable wedge locking mechanism and is offered exclusively in the popular caliber 12/76.

The caliber 12/76 with steel shot allows for strong shot loads if needed, which can be advantageous especially in goose hunting. Of course, all 70mm cartridges can also be fired in this caliber. Bockdoppelflinten are universally applicable in both hunting and sporting shooting and are generally easier to handle than over-and-under shotguns. With the Bockdoppelflinte Forest Favorit, high shooting cadences are possible without impairing the hit patterns and without disadvantages for the shooter – the forend encloses the lower barrel. The hand does not directly touch the hot metal as with an over-and-under shotgun.

Furthermore, with Bock shotguns, the more linear recoil allows for a slightly faster second shot. Visually, this series consists of particularly beautiful shotguns with ventilated barrel bundles and an engraved receiver featuring a hunting motif. The barrel length is 71 cm, which is beneficial for handling this weapon in versatile hunting operations. The single trigger with mechanical switching is very practical and allows for a quick succession of shots. The lightning system with a trigger safety on the stock neck is quickly accessible. The stock is made of beautiful walnut wood.
