The Sellier & Bellot TFMJ Nontox in the classic revolver caliber .38 Special is a low-emission premium sport cartridge specifically designed for training at indoor shooting ranges and in enclosed shooting facilities. Equipped with a 10.2g (158 grs) TFMJ bullet (Total Full Metal Jacket), the lead core is completely encased in a high-quality tombak jacket – even at the bullet base. In combination with the patented, heavy metal-free Nontox primer, the burden on indoor air from lead, barium, and antimony particles during firing is effectively minimized. With a muzzle velocity of 266 m/s and an energy of 363 Joules, it offers excellent inherent precision and a pleasantly controllable shooting behavior in revolvers and lever-action rifles.
