Used firearm
Repeater rifle, Waffenfabrik Bern, Swiss long rifle G1911 cal. 7.5x55 swiss, with diopter and front sight tunnel. The Swiss long rifle G1911 was introduced in 1896 as standard armament for the Swiss Army. The Swiss Army was the first army to introduce straight-pull repeaters as standard. With the decision to adopt this weapon, it is undeniable that Switzerland was technically ahead of its neighboring countries in the field of military repeaters by several decades. Although the G1911 long rifles were never used in a military conflict, Swiss rifles and carbines are known for their very good precision and shooting performance.
The rifle has a valid proof mark.
