The Schmeisser BA15-22 (also marketed under the Pallas brand) is a bolt-action rifle in caliber .22 lfB that combines the popular AR-15 design with a sportingly and hunting-compliant repeating system. The model was developed as a tactically styled small-caliber repeater and offers ambitious shooters unmistakable AR-15 handling. The modern generation (Gen. 3) is characterized by improvements in mechanics, smoother cycling behavior, and increased precision through longer barrels (approximately 47 cm), making it a popular weapon for training, plinking, and sporting disciplines.

The weapon impresses with its high modularity, as it largely uses AR-15-compatible components, such as the grip, stock, and Picatinny rail systems. This allows for extensive individual customization with market-standard accessories, from optics and red dots to flip-up sights and tactical grips. The robust construction combines steel for functionally relevant components with lightweight plastic for the housing and accessories, keeping the weight low and making handling very pleasant for shooting training. The system features ambidextrous safety and offers versatile application possibilities through optional accessories (silencer adapter to M10x1).
