Heckler & Koch HK243 S TAR

The HK243 is a semi-automatic self-loading rifle in caliber .223 Remington. It is the civilian version of the G36, which has been used and proven by military and police forces for decades. As an indirect gas-operated loader, the HK243 impresses with its outstanding reliability. All function-relevant components are optimally coordinated. In conjunction with our cold-hammered precision barrel and the low weight of the weapon, very good shooting patterns can be achieved, especially in dynamic shooting sports disciplines. As a modular system, the HK243 also offers full control over personal equipment preferences. Thus, reservists or sport shooters have the opportunity to give their weapon an individual touch - in color and configuration.

The HK243, like the G36, still sets the benchmark when it comes to functional reliability. Furthermore, the self-loading rifle is extremely versatile and very easy to handle – whether free-standing or supported. For cleaning, the HK243 can be easily disassembled into its components, and with proper care, it lasts longer than one might think.

Classic or tactical
H&K offers the HK243 factory-configured in two equipment variants. The base variant HK243 SAR is equipped with a polymer handguard, a polymer sight rail with diopter sight, the classic skeleton stock for the G36, and a 10-round polymer magazine. In the tactical version HK243 TAR, the self-loading rifle features a slim line lightweight metal handguard with HKey interfaces, a lightweight metal sight rail with a foldable emergency diopter sight, the G36 Ergo stock from the IdZ series, the G28 cage flash suppressor, and the 10-round polymer magazine.
