Schofield of the U.S. Army Ordnance Department in the late 1860s. It was a variation of the Smith & Wesson Model 3 revolver and was primarily used by the United States Army in the late 19th century. The development of the Schofield revolver dates back to the American Civil War when Major Schofield recognized the need for a faster reloading system for handguns. He collaborated with Smith & Wesson to modify their Model 3 revolver to meet the requirements of the U.S. Army. The design was patented by Smith & Wesson in 1869.

The propulsion of the soft air weapon is achieved through a classic CO2 system. To insert the 12g CO2 capsule, you simply need to push the left grip panel upwards, and you can insert the CO2 cartridge. Conveniently, an Allen wrench is embedded in the grip panel, which you can use to tighten the CO2 cartridge. Unlike many other CO2 weapons, this revolver does not have a CO2 blowback system. This is not only gentler on the soft air weapon but also allows for significantly more shots with one CO2 cartridge.

For aiming, a classic rear sight and front sight are installed. However, adjusting the rear and front sights is not possible. The trigger is a single-action trigger. The safety of the 6mm revolver is controlled by a lever under the hammer.
