Böker Rescue OTF Folding Knife

A rescue knife must primarily be easy and reliable to use. The technically best solution to meet this requirement is a construction with an automatic push blade (English OTF, short for Out-of-The-Front) with robustly constructed and carefully processed mechanics. This poses a legal challenge for manufacturers in Germany, as OTF knives are initially prohibited under German weapons law (WaffG §1 paragraph 4 in conjunction with Annex 1 section 1 subsection 2.1.1).
