The Glock 47 FS MOS Gen.5 pistol appears in caliber 9x19 and combines the advantages of a modern handgun with the requirements of the future.
The G47 MOS in standard size combines the slide of a G17 Gen5 MOS with the frame of a G45 and offers the proven reliability, durability, and safety of Glock. Coated with the Glock nDLC finish, the slide is reinforced against corrosion and friction. Front serrations also facilitate operation during press-checks. The ambidextrous slide stop lever is suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters and allows for safe handling. Additionally, the frame fully encloses the front of the grip.
Due to the design without finger grooves, the grip is suitable for all finger sizes and provides comfortable hold. Furthermore, an extended magazine base plate allows for quick and efficient reloading in stressful situations. The larger opening of the flared magazine well makes it easier to insert the magazine, which has a capacity of 17 rounds.
Additionally, the pistol is equipped with a Safe Action system, where three safeties are sequentially disengaged as the trigger is pulled. Upon releasing the trigger, these are automatically reactivated.
The Glock 47 also features the modular optical system - MOS. The standard MOS includes a factory cut on the slide as well as a numbered adapter plate in the package, allowing for easy mounting of a common optical sight.
