The Glock 17 Gen.5 FR Coyote has been used by the French Army as a standard service weapon since 2020 and will replace the French MAC 50 and the Beretta 92F produced under license. The Glock 17 Gen5 FR Coyote differs from the standard Gen5 model not only by its coyote-colored frame but also in other features: it comes standard with luminescent steel sights, a lanyard loop, and an extended slide stop.
