“The modular sizing die” uses a unique design where the die body sizes the geometry of the cartridge body and a “neck/shoulder bushing” controls the shoulder and neck geometry. This versatility allows a die body to be used for the entire cartridge family. Furthermore, each modular sizing die is precision manufactured, with a focus on accurately sizing your fired brass. Our dies size the base of the cartridge slightly more than the shoulder.
After analyzing precision CNC machines and tools, we designed the modular sizing die to use flat cones instead of threads to precisely center and secure the solid decapping pin. This conical geometry achieves exceptional concentricity and repeatability.
