In the middle of the last century, Basil Tuller developed sandbags for a two-point rest to shoot from tripods and similar supports. The second rest was a buttstock sandbag with supporting ears.
Precise adjustment of the weapon by pressing the ears.
Until the ripe age of 85, Basil Tuller passionately produced sandbags and established them as the world standard for supported shooting.
Even today, they are handcrafted from high-quality cowhide in the well-known and appreciated quality, and are extremely popular among benchrest and other precision shooters.
