General description for all Haenel Jaeger 10 models
The company Haenel has a long tradition in the manufacture of high-quality hunting weapons and impresses with state-of-the-art design and manufacturing principles. The Haenel Jaeger 10 stands out for its excellent price/performance ratio and is 100% "Made in Germany." The Jaeger 10 is offered in various model variants, from the higher-quality Timber version in wood class 4, two variants with camouflage surfaces, three varmint versions, as well as a short tracker and a precision rifle. The stock of this leading repeater rifle features a straight back, with a long German cheek piece depending on the version. The synthetic stocks are made from the latest high-tech plastic. All metal parts are matte blued. Female hunters can rely on a special ladies' stock. In this case, the buttstock has been shortened, the pistol grip is steeper, and a cushioning butt pad reduces recoil. These features allow for a female-typical shooting position. The bolt features six large lugs on the chamber head and runs perfectly in the system sleeve with excellent surface and sliding properties. The opening angle of only 60 degrees allows for both quick cycling and a very flat scope mounting. The trigger is a direct trigger with a set trigger. By opening the chamber, the set trigger is automatically released. The removable detachable magazine consists of a steel sheet body and holds 3 + 1 cartridges as standard. The rifle comes standard with a driven hunt sight with illuminated front sight. The safety is located to the right of the locking mechanism and has a separate chamber lock that allows unloading in a secured state. The Jaeger 10 allows for the mounting of a Remington 700 mounting base. On this base, all Remington 700 mounts can be built. Some Jaeger 10 models (e.g., Jaeger 10 Varmint) are equipped with a Picatinny rail as standard; this rail can be mounted at an additional cost on all other Jaeger 10 models from the factory. This allows for the easy mounting of all common scopes.

With its convincing features, the scope BAUER HD 2-16x50 L7F meets the desire for a versatile scope.
The relatively large objective opening of 50 mm for a universal scope, combined with clear, high-contrast imaging performance, also allows for long-distance shots under suboptimal conditions.

With the extreme magnification range of 2 to 16 times, it can respond variably to almost all hunting requirements.

Using the built-in parallax adjustment, the image sharpness can be readjusted without affecting the optimal setting of the reticle sharpness.

The scope is available in a version with flat, closed elevation turrets or in a version with open turrets with lockable click adjustment and zero-stop.

Multi-layer coating on all lens surfaces for a detailed, high-contrast image. The Bauer PC-Coating on the outer lenses provides optimized protection against moisture, scratches, and dirt. The filling with dry nitrogen prevents internal moisture.

The housing is made of an aluminum alloy, as used in aerospace technology. Internal seals ensure waterproofness. Special safety connections and spring-loaded supports guarantee maximum shot stability.

The more delicate reticle L7 compared to the reticle L4 combines clarity with a clear marking using an illuminated dot. The reticle is located in the second image plane (ocular plane). This means that the reticle does not change size with magnification changes. The red illuminated reticle is finely dimmable in 11 levels.
