The ND green light long-range projectors from LaserGenetics are the first portable high-performance laser lamps (laser protection class 2M) for civilian use.
They are ideal for search and rescue operations, outdoor activities, camping, and for transmitting messages via light signals. The patented design combines a green high-tech laser lamp with a 9-lens collimator system into an ultimate light instrument. Unlike conventional light sources, not the entire foreground is illuminated. Only objects directly illuminated at a 90° angle to the light beam reflect the light.

The ND5 Mini subzero is equipped with an eye-friendly green laser diode and precision optics. By moving the slider, the diameter can be individually adjusted. The ND5 Mini laser evenly illuminates an area of approx. 230 meters, and in combination with powerful optics (binoculars or rifle scope), it is ideal for wildlife observation, for example. The intense reflection in the eyes makes it possible to locate animals even over long distances without startling them. Focused, the ND5 Mini has a range of up to 4,800 meters and is therefore also a sensible companion in search and rescue operations.

The subzero variant of the ND5 Mini is ideal for cold temperatures and works flawlessly down to -18°C!

Caution
At low temperatures, it may happen that the LaserGenetics subzero models take about 1-2 minutes to start and develop their full brightness after being turned on. This is a physical issue of the lithium battery and not a product defect. You can prevent this by storing the battery separately warm until use (e.g., in your pocket) or by protecting the device from extreme cold until use.
