The semi-automatic pistol from FEG in caliber 9 mm Browning Kurz is a self-loading pistol with a compact design and classic construction. The Hungarian manufacturer FEG (Fémáru Fegyver- és Gépgyár) was known for decades for producing handguns and made numerous pistol models for civilian markets. The firearms are characterized by a robust design as well as simple and reliable mechanics.

The caliber 9 mm Browning Kurz, internationally also known as .380 Auto, is one of the established handgun calibers. The centerfire cartridge is used in various pistol models and is applied in sport shooting. The designation 9 mm Browning Kurz describes the cartridge and must not be confused with other 9 mm calibers such as 9 mm Luger (9 × 19).
