Walther OSP rapid-fire pistol in .22Short (22kurz). Sport and collector's pistol manufactured in 1977. Sport pistol for the former Olympic rapid-fire pistol discipline in caliber .22short (.22kurz). To keep the recoil as low as possible, the discipline was still shot in caliber .22 short until 2004. The Walther OSP was specifically designed for this caliber and discipline. Today, only the stronger caliber .22lr is allowed for the Olympic rapid-fire pistol. The .22Short rapid-fire pistol is still shot as a purely German discipline in some clubs, especially in Northern Germany. The Walther OSP was one of the most successful sport pistols in this discipline. Due to its extraordinary construction and the well-known good workmanship, it is a piece of sports history and an interesting collector's item. Barrel profile mirror bright, grooves and fields sharp-edged. With height and side adjustable target sight, interchangeable front sight, and fine match trigger. Anatomical grip shell with adjustable hand rest and thumb rest made of walnut. Grip surface with hammer finish. Well-maintained very good, almost like new condition.
