GIRSAN Pistol Mod. MC 1911 MATCH – Classic Black Finish and Match Performance

The GIRSAN Pistol Mod. MC 1911 MATCH in the powerful .45 Auto caliber is the perfect choice for demanding sport shooters and 1911 fans looking for uncompromising precision, high-quality craftsmanship, and a classic competition look. Built with exceptional fit and finish, usually found only on much more expensive 1911 models, this firearm impresses with its solid steel frame, finely machined slide serrations, and deep matte black finish.

The Girsan match pistol has been optimized for sport shooting: a fully adjustable sight ensures precise settings for a wide range of disciplines. The extended beavertail grip and ergonomic ambidextrous safety lever offer maximum control and safety—even during rapid fire. The single-action trigger system, combined with a target trigger and a precision long-hole hammer, provides a crisp, consistent trigger pull.
Maximum control and timeless reliability

The black MC 1911 MATCH combines traditional engineering with modern ergonomic features:

5.03" match barrel: The 127.8 mm barrel makes optimal use of the .45 Auto cartridge’s potential and delivers excellent inherent accuracy at 25 meters.

Ergonomic G10 grip panels: The extremely durable G10 panels with aggressive texturing provide maximum grip—even with wet hands or during rapid-fire strings.

Single-action match trigger: The finely tuned SA trigger breaks cleanly and supports precise shot placement with every shot.

Extended beavertail: Reliably protects the shooter’s hand from hammer bite and allows for a very high grip for optimal muzzle control.

Micrometer match sight: The fully adjustable sight can be finely adjusted for elevation and windage to align the point of impact precisely with the load being used.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Which disciplines is the GIRSAN MC 1911 MATCH Black suitable for?

With its single-action trigger, 5.03-inch barrel and micrometer-adjustable sights, this pistol meets all the requirements for 25-meter large-caliber disciplines at numerous shooting sports associations (such as DSB, BDS, DSU or BDMP).

Are accessories compatible with standard 1911 models?

Yes. Since the firearm is based on standard single-stack 1911 dimensions, most commercially available replacement magazines, holsters and tuning parts for .45 Auto 1911 systems will fit.

What advantages do G10 grip panels offer over wood or plastic panels?

G10 is an extremely durable fiberglass-reinforced composite. It doesn't absorb moisture, oils or cleaning products, won't warp and provides a secure grip thanks to its sharply cut texture.
