The Pulsar Proton XQ30 consists of a compact thermal imaging module and a quickly detachable monocular, the Pulsar 5x30B. This easy-to-mount combination transforms your daylight optics into a thermal imaging device with 5x digital magnification. The 5x30B is compatible with monocular daylight optics. The mounting of the thermal imaging module is done using a special PSP adapter in seconds. Thanks to the adapter mounting, the Proton XQ30 can be detached from the daylight optics and installed on another medium. A built-in mechanism ensures precise reattachment and optimal centering of the module on another optic, telescope objectives, or binocular channels. The PSP adapter (not included) can remain mounted on the thermal imaging device. This allows the versatility of this module to be fully utilized, as the conversion is done through a simple plug system on the other adapter. The Pulsar thermal imaging attachment features a highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor. The microbolometer value of the device is <40mK, creating a high-contrast, sharp image that can be displayed with eight color palettes. With these diverse settings, functionality is ensured even in poor weather conditions or low temperature contrast. Even in snow, fog, or freezing nights, this device detects the slightest temperature differences and operates under the most unfavorable conditions for hunters and equipment. The IDB (Image Detail Boost) function enhances the contrast of objects with thermal radiation, creates better contour delineation, and clearly represents the smallest objects, such as branches or dry wood. This function is especially useful when accurately addressing game. A built-in memory of 16 GB allows you to save videos and photos. Through the Bluetooth function, these can be shared with friends and hunting companions. The device is compatible with iOS and Android devices. The device is designed to be lightweight and compact, weighing only 370 g. Thus, there is no noticeable change in the weight/balance of the equipment, making it perfect for stalking. A shock-resistant housing made of a magnesium alloy makes the device robust and durable. The metal alloy of the housing effectively lowers the temperature of the electronic components and dissipates heat. With a detection range of 900 m, you acquire an all-round device that covers all hunting situations and turns night into day. The ideal shooting distance specified by the manufacturer is 120 m, indicating the distance at which a safe shot can be taken at an object the size of wild boar. This is a theoretical value and depends on the conditions of the hunting area.
