Thread: QD quick release
extended by 151 mm

Compatible with the standard NATO muzzle flash suppressor, the Rotex-V is the optimal solution when a suppressor that can be attached/detached in a few seconds with very good damping performance is needed. Furthermore, the Rotex-V effectively suppresses muzzle flash.
For official use, suppressors must withstand enormous stresses. Experiences from this area also flow into the development of hunting suppressors. Not only very good damping values are achieved, but also compact dimensions and low weight. Special attention has been paid to a cost-effective, integrated thread adapter, allowing the suppressors to be used on multiple weapons with different muzzle threads.
The suppressors from B&T are made of extremely temperature-resistant Thermax and Inconel. Inconel alloys are well resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for use in extreme environments. When heated, a stable oxide layer forms that protects the surface. The strength remains intact over a wide temperature range. This makes the alloys particularly interesting for high-temperature applications where aluminum and steel are unstable.

Notes on suppressors: Existing hunting law prohibitions or restrictions on the use of suppressors in the respective federal states must be observed. Ballistically, the use of suppressors with normal common hunting ammunition has no effect – the impact of the projectile remains the same. The perception of the environment is also not affected. Suppressors reduce recoil as well as noise at the source. This protects the environment (e.g., hunting dogs) from noise damage. They almost completely reduce muzzle flash, making it easier to perceive the drawing and escape direction of the game in poor light. The suppressor should always be removed before pulling through the weapon to avoid damage to the baffles. For cleaning and preserving suppressors, penetrating oils are recommended. High-temperature resistant greases are effective for maintaining the threads.
