Product description:

Training, competition, driven hunt – the new R8 Ultimate X fulfills the long-standing wish of many hunters and shooters to carry an R8 with a larger reserve. In its magazine well, magazines with a capacity of 10 rounds can be used, providing more than enough space even for powerful magnum cartridges. To extend the standard magazine, the trigger system, including trigger blade and guard, has been separated from the magazine and integrated into a newly developed system extension.

Basically, the Blaser saddle mount can still be used. However, due to the slightly increased overall length of the R8 Ultimate X, it may be necessary to adjust the eye relief according to individual preferences for the optics. The standard configuration always includes an adjustable buttstock (VSR), an adjustable butt plate (VSK) or the new Compact butt plate (SKC), as well as a match chamber grip ball. With the new Compact butt plate, a fixed stock length of 350 mm can be easily achieved.

Compact and well-thought-out design: A new component inserted between the buttstock and system housing creates space for the extended magazine.
Magazine change simple and quick: The extended magazines are removed by simultaneously pressing the two side push buttons.
The R8 Ultimate X has one magazine variant for standard and magnum calibers. Both hold 10 cartridges.
Intuitive grip for all shooting positions: An extension of the chamber grip ensures that the chamber grip can be operated intuitively during quick cycling.
Left & right bolt: For the decisive time advantage: In a right-hand position, a left bolt can be used, allowing the hand to remain on the pistol grip. By changing the bolt head, the ejection can also be regulated to the left or right – tool-free with the same barrel and housing.
