For the first time, the new monocular of the Axion XG series is equipped with a highly detailed Lynred thermal imaging camera with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels at 12 µm. It features an F35/1.0 germanium lens with a fast aperture, three sensitivity enhancement levels, and improved Wi-Fi connectivity with 2.4/5 GHz band support, along with the option for remote control and firmware updates via the Stream Vision 2 application. This lightweight monocular has enhanced image processing algorithms and provides high-quality reproduction of target objects and backgrounds. The Axion 2 XG is designed for constant and frequent hardcore use. The reinforced magnesium alloy housing reliably protects the internal components from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, and cold. The devices are equipped with a powerful APS5 battery that allows for up to 7 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. A standard object 1.8 m tall can be detected in complete darkness at a distance of up to 1300 m. The new Axions are equipped with a high-contrast AMOLED display with improved color reproduction. Improved Algorithms for Optimal Observation We have added new image processing algorithms and finely tuned brightness and contrast, which, in combination with the three available image enhancement levels, provide significant support for early detection and recognition of targets under varying weather and temperature conditions. Furthermore, Axion 2 XG thermal imaging devices feature a remarkably wide linear field of view of 18.2 m at a distance of 100 m or an angle of view of 10.7°. These improved spotters are perfect for viewing large areas and observing moving objects from a distance. Utilize the "Picture-in-Picture" function for an even more detailed image. An additional window appears at the top of the screen, displaying the center of the observed scene magnified two or four times.
