SAUER 303 MAKE TRACKS IN STYLE!

The new S303 is the only premium self-loading rifle on the market. It combines stylish appearance with maximum efficiency and offers the secure follow-up shot like a double rifle without manual cycling. But it offers even more: The completely revised self-loading mechanism reduces recoil and muzzle rise by almost 30 percent. Its precision remains uncompromising at all times.

Shorter buttstock, altered drop and slimmer pistol grip: The S 303 Artemis is the first SAUER self-loading rifle specifically tailored to the body measurements of women and petite individuals.

With the 950g "Black-Magic" fine trigger featuring an absolutely crisp characteristic and 3-shot SUB MOA precision, this semi-automatic rifle is ideally suited for all types of hunting, including stand hunting. With its line design and balance similar to SAUER bolt-action rifles, the SAUER 303 is undoubtedly the most elegant self-loading rifle on the market. With its superior technology, the new S303 is the absolute queen of hunting when it comes to maximum concentration on the game.

[The Stock]
The SAUER wooden stock named "ErgoCompact" is adapted in shape to the physique of women. It impresses with a shorter LOP (-30mm) for a total of 335mm. With less drop, shorter trigger length, and a slimmer pistol grip, the stock is ideal for women AND "small" men. The version offered here is made from walnut wood. The fine laserline grain gives this premium self-loading rifle its elegant appearance.
The 303 Select is also available with "ERGO LIFT" stock height adjustment for an additional charge.

[Safety]
The ambitious hunter does not want to compromise on maximum safety with a self-loading rifle.
The textured manual safety ensures superior safety and quick readiness to fire at the decisive moment. As with the S 404, the smooth metal slider on the S 303 is ergonomically perfectly placed on the safety catch, allowing not only comfortable but also extremely quiet cocking. By pressing the button, the cocking slider – controlled by the thumb – silently glides back into the relaxed position. Of course, loading and unloading in the relaxed state has also been considered: Simply tap the cocking slider and safely open it.
Of course, the bolt remains cocked after firing the first shot! The semi-automatic rifle does not need to be recocked for follow-up shots.

The tried and tested and popular magazine lock MagLock now also secures the "ammunition supply" of the S 303. Optimally positioned, it not only prevents unintentional loss of the magazine but is also literally solved in a flash when a new magazine needs to be loaded.

[The Technology]
"Timing" is the decisive factor for the function of all self-loading weapons. All mechanical processes must be executed within a defined time frame:
- Unlocking
- Opening (extracting and ejecting the cartridge case, parallel rise of the cartridge column)
- Cocking the firing system
- Feeding a new cartridge from the magazine into the chamber
- Locking
Only then is the so-called "full cycle" achieved. The new SAUER 303 has been consistently developed to fulfill this function under countless conditions and parameters.
The main focus was, among other things, on "smoothing" the mechanical processes, ensuring constant supply of the system with appropriate force for each shot, creating a defined and constant feed and closing force, improving extraction and ejection, even with critical ammunition, increasing dirt resistance, and stabilizing friction values even under heavy use and/or contamination.
Through the complete redesign of the bolt geometries, unlocking and locking now operates much more smoothly and evenly than in the past. Thus, less initial energy is required to drive the entire system, which not only greatly facilitates the harmonization of all mechanical processes but also significantly reduces the stress on parts (e.g., loading lever).
By changing materials (to steel) in the gas housing and creating a perfectly round gas channel, the energy introduced to start the system remains constant under all conditions and regardless of the number of shots.
The optimized gas extraction guarantees the high reliability and long service life of the S 303. Made of steel, it also provides the desired front heaviness of the weapon and thus optimal vibration behavior during quick shooting.
The now standard multi-strand spring works within a constant range and cannot fatigue. The new S 303 features two ejectors instead of just one to safely and precisely eject the empty cartridge case.
The barrel and chamber of the SAUER 303 are completely hard-chromed on the inside.

[Trigger]
Standard, the new SAUER 303 is equipped with the brilliant "Black-Magic-Trigger" direct trigger.
With a trigger weight of only approx. 950g, it offers enough resistance for driven hunts while still breaking crystal clear for precise long-range shots during stand hunting. Thus, this self-loader is the perfect companion in every hunting situation.

[Precision]
The cold-hammered precision barrel is manufactured like the system at the Isny location in Germany.
Every SAUER 303 barrel guarantees the world-famous SAUER precision (3-shot SUB MOA). The permanently hard-chromed inner barrel protects the S303 longer against dirt. As a result, the semi-automatic rifle can be used longer between cleaning intervals.
From now on, the proven and repeatedly accurate Sauer Universal Mount (SUM) is also the benchmark for the new S 303. This ensures that the shooter can quickly acquire the target without excessive lifting of the head and can call upon the precision of their rifle. The SUM is available for all common mounting rails as well as for all ring diameters from 1 inch to 40 mm.

[Sights]
The perfectly arranged open sight "Allround" is ideal for robust hunting use, e.g., during driven hunts. But it can also be used on the shooting range to accurately hit the target.
It elegantly integrates into the lines of the S303 and does not appear to be an afterthought.

The delivery of the weapon is as provided by SAUER from the factory in a box.
