It is a matter of course that the ambitious female hunter demands a 100% fitting hunting tool. The SAUER 101 Artemis with the Ergo-Compact stock is the perfect repeating rifle here, without compromises in optics, precision, and reliability. Despite its traditional design, the SAUER 101 is equipped with unique details inspired by the SAUER premium class. The extra wide direct trigger of the S101 is universally applicable for all types of hunting and releases at approx. 950g. The trigger characteristic can be described without hesitation as absolutely "dry." It enables the shooter to call upon the impressive precision of the rifle in all situations.

[Stock]
The SAUER ErgoCompact is adapted in stock shape to the physique of women. It impresses with a shorter LOP (-30mm) and a slimmer pistol grip. With less drop and shorter trigger length, the stock is ideal for women AND "small" men.

The stock is made of walnut. The overall appearance of this wooden stock is very appealing and elegant due to the dark Laserline grain.

[Safety]
The SAUER 101 model series impresses with the Dura-Safe safety concept. Direct firing pin safety, which is ergonomically perfectly arranged as a smooth and quiet slider located at the back of the lock. The operation is immediately absolutely intuitive and silent:
Push forward = uncocked
Slide back = cocked
Thanks to the integrated locking button in the slider, unintentional uncocking is practically impossible. Another safety feature is the automatic firing pin lock. If the weapon is not 100% locked, the discharge of the shot is absolutely reliably prevented. Opening the weapon is possible in any condition: By applying slight pressure to the side release button, the S101 can also be opened in the cocked state.

[Precision]
The housing of the 101 is made of high-performance forged steel and is matte blued. The cold-hammered original SAUER precision barrel is thermally joined without stress using the Heat-Lock process. The full barrel-housing connection created over the entire surface ensures phenomenal precision.

The chamber with its 6 massive lugs locks directly in the barrel. Despite this extremely firm locking, the bolt operation is as silky smooth and fluid as expected from Sauer. The chamber of the S101 glides effortlessly through the casing. This great haptic feel combined with a high-quality sound profile is only available at SAUER.

The patented EverRest bedding with an improved recoil lug concept brings match precision into the hands of the ambitious hunter. Maximum possible decoupling of stock and system, uncompromising self-precision even under the most extreme climatic conditions and even after thousands of shots.
