GLOCK - A synonym for innovation, precision, and reliability!

The Gen5 models continue the evolution of perfection with several design changes to make them even better than their Gen4 predecessors. GLOCK has combined high performance and reliability standards with striking design improvements to further enhance durability, accuracy, and performance. One noticeable feature of the GEN5 grip is the absence of finger grooves. These have disappeared with the new ergonomic design of the Gen5. This provides better handling for the shooter, as not everyone has the same hand size and therefore the finger width dictated by the grooves. The redesigned GEN5 magazine well features an internal magazine funnel (FLARED MAG-WELL), where the grip has been slightly flared and notched outward. This makes reloading significantly easier and faster, which can be life-saving in critical situations. When looking at the empty magazine, the orange follower should now be immediately visible even in adverse lighting conditions. Other features include a smoother trigger and a reversible slide stop lever, making the pistol equally operable from the left and right. This is very helpful when the weapon needs to be operable with both hands at all times. The barrel of the GEN5 models has also been revised to achieve an even higher precision potential than previous GLOCK barrels. The new GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) was developed as part of the US Army's solicitation and features a new, modified polygonal barrel profile. Finally, the Gen5 versions have been given a new, much more durable surface coating. The deep black nDLC finish is significantly more resistant to corrosion and scratches. The sights have also been improved and equipped with a significantly larger sight gap for the rear and front sights. This results in a much better sight picture, especially in adverse visibility conditions. The new 2018 models additionally feature lateral grip grooves, known as front serrations, at the front of the slide. This allows for practical and quick loading or checking of the readiness status from the front. Some features of the GEN4 models have also been retained. The MBS Modular Back Strap grip remains unchanged. It offers a significant advantage: The circumference of the grip can be adjusted to the individual hand size using the included back straps. The magazine holder has a larger contact surface and is interchangeable. Additionally, the GLOCK Gen5 pistol models, like the Gen4 models, feature a textured RTF surface on the grip and back strap. Furthermore, all GLOCK Gen5 models are also equipped with a tandem recoil spring. This reduces recoil and has also proven to have a very high durability.

MOS
The Modular Optic System allows the shooter to easily mount the optic of their choice with just a few simple steps directly onto the slide of the pistol. The slide has been milled in the rear section between the rear sight and ejection port. This allows one of the four included adapter plates for various optical systems to be mounted. A wide range of modern red dot sights can thus be elegantly and easily integrated into the slide. The conversion is simple and quick.
