When the slide is pulled back and released, the firing pin remains in the rear position and is under spring tension. The trigger releases this tension and allows for firing. The direct contact between the firing pin and the valve ensures a realistic trigger response and quick slide movement, making the shooting experience particularly authentic.

For an optimal hit pattern, the Canik TP9 Elite Combat is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system. This system is located below the slide and can be adjusted without additional tools.
