With the release of the G23 Gen5, the latest generation of GLOCK Standard is now available in .40 S&W.
By applying Gen5 technology, this model features an nDLC finish, an extended magazine well, the proven GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB), and an ambidextrous slide stop lever.
The frame of the G23 Gen5 is adjustable like the Gen4 model and includes the Modular Beavertail Backstrap System (MBS) and a reversible magazine catch.
Note: The slide width of the .40 S&W Gen5 models is slightly larger compared to the previous generation. Please consider this when selecting your holster.

Customizable Frame Size
Each GLOCK Gen5 comes with backstraps in two sizes, both with and without beavertail. The multiple backstrap frame allows the user to adjust the grip circumference to their individual hand size.

Reversible Magazine Catch
The magazine catch of the Gen5 frame is reversible and enlarged towards the back of the pistol. The reversible magazine catch is more user-friendly for the shooter and allows them to switch the catch to the left or right side of the pistol.

Accessory Rail
Accessory rails in front of the trigger guard on all competition, standard, and compact frames allow for the attachment of accessories such as tactical lights and lasers.

Polymer Grip
The durable and lightweight polymer frame absorbs recoil due to the damping properties of the polymer.

Loaded Chamber Indicator
Visible and tactile indicator as part of the extractor to show whether a round is in the chamber.
