Model Carbon
The model 457 Carbon is equipped with a unique match barrel wrapped in carbon. Weighing only 2.2 kg, it is the lightest repeating rifle in the 457 series and shoots as precisely as the highly regarded but heavier Varmint MTR model. The durable, modern-designed polymer stock in camouflage design features a "soft-touch" surface coating that provides the weapon with excellent grip. The pistol grip and forend are ergonomically shaped, offering better hand placement and a more stable hold than competing models. The cold-hammered match barrel wrapped in carbon is equipped with an efficient muzzle brake (compensator). All metal components are finished with a corrosion-resistant nitriding finish, which is extremely durable and resilient. Double sling swivel bases on the forend for rifle slings and bipods.
