The new ZEISS Conquest Gavia 85 spotting scope with angled view has been specifically designed for the needs of wildlife and nature observers. Its compact design and low weight make this spotting scope with a large 85 millimeter objective diameter an ideal travel companion with high optical performance and brightness, even in remote locations. "With 60x magnification under a wide-angle field of view, challenging identification tasks can be mastered even at great distances due to the true-to-life image reproduction. The uniquely short close focus in this class makes observing small objects, such as songbirds or butterflies, a special nature experience," explains Dr. Gerold Dobler, product manager at Carl Zeiss Sports Optics GmbH. The intuitive and dynamic focusing mechanism also allows for quick and smooth focusing while observing.

Diverse fields of application

"With the new ZEISS Conquest Gavia 85, nature and bird watchers receive a powerful spotting scope with an excellent price-performance ratio," says Dobler. Thanks to the universal tripod foot, it is easy to attach the spotting scope to the quick-release system of Manfrotto tripod heads. Extensive digiscoping accessories further expand the diverse fields of application, as do simple connection options for astronomical eyepieces. According to Dobler, this allows every observer to quickly and easily adjust their preferred magnification and desired field of view to their individual needs.
