The SteriPen Water Purifier Classic 3 removes bacteria, 99.9% protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), and viruses using ultraviolet light (UV-C rays). The usage is incredibly simple and allows you to purify water from almost any source with clear water. The Classic 3 water purifier has been the most widely used UV water purifier for over 15 years. The user-friendly LED display shows the treatment volume as well as the status of the UV lamp and battery charge. Use the SteriPen Classic 3 only in clear water, as cloudy, sediment-laden water can impair effectiveness. Application: 1. Remove the cap. 2. Press the activation button: 1 x for 1 liter, 2 x for 500 ml. 3. Hold the lamp in the clear water until the water sensor pins are completely covered. 4. Stir the water until the green LED blinks.
