What do Trier, Wiesbaden, Münster, and Lüneburg have in common? Besides historical city centers, regional attractions, and a long tradition as significant trading cities, they have one main thing in common: They host excellently managed cutlery dealers who have made a name for themselves over many years with a wide range of products and high expertise and consulting competence. We have taken advantage of decades of experience, excellent know-how, and the daily proven understanding of the requirements and needs of cooking and kitchen enthusiasts, and together with our nearly 150 years of experience as a Solingen knife manufacturer, we have incorporated this into the product development of the Böker Core series. The result is a product that, due to its dynamic line design, excellent handling, and breathtaking cutting abilities, more than deserves the label "Recommended by leading specialists." The massive blade blank made from the high-quality kitchen knife-suitable chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy (X50CrMoV15) is additionally optimized in the structure through the elaborate forging in Solingen craftsmanship and subsequently hardened to 58 HRC. For a longer lifespan of the blade and an even finer cutting profile, the traditionally hand-finished edge is additionally polished to a high gloss. The forged bolster provides a secure grip at all times and protects against possible injuries in case of slipping. As a special design feature, the spine of the blade is gently rounded on all knives in this series. This makes the knife comfortable to hold in any grip position and prevents an unpleasant pressure sensation in the hand even when applying stronger pressure on the spine during rocking cuts. The beautifully grained and perfectly proportioned handles made of walnut wood complete the harmonious overall picture. The bread knife is characterized by its special serrated edge and very long blade. In addition to bread, it can also cut other hard foods particularly well. Unlike a classic kitchen knife, these are not crushed when cutting with the bread knife. "I particularly appreciate the absolute functionality of the Böker Core chef's knife series. The design is extremely pleasing - not overloaded - and, due to the clean finish between the forged bolster and the walnut wood handle, also meets our hygiene standards." Jörg Lamskemper, Master of the Knife-Makers Guild Münster "Local woods like the walnut used in this series are becoming increasingly popular and can be found in many trendy kitchen accessories. We support the use of local materials and products that are still made in traditional Solingen craftsmanship." Oliver Gayer, Master of the Knife-Makers Guild Northern Bavaria
