The Eickhorn rescue knife with the folding knife system has a chisel-shaped blade with a partial serration. Clothing, straps, and core mantle ropes up to 11 mm thick pose no obstacle for the blade. As a reflection protection, the blade additionally received a black Kalgard coating. For breaking window glass, the RT-I-TAC is equipped with a glass breaker in the area of the hand guard.
