The BW field spade, also known as a folding spade or triple spade, comes from original stocks of the Bundeswehr and is a versatile tool for use in the field, outdoors, and everyday life. Made from sturdy metal with a hardened shovel blade, it impresses with its robustness, functionality, and compact size. This spade is more than just a classic shovel replacement: thanks to the side saw edge, it can be used for cutting roots and branches, and it can also be used as a hoe. This makes it perfect for digging, chopping, or removing obstacles – whether camping, hiking, survival, or in the garden. The 3-part construction (shovel blade, handle, grip) is secured by a screw and can be folded in two ways. This reduces the length to only about 24 cm, making transport in a backpack, vehicle, or luggage particularly easy. When unfolded, the spade reaches a length of about 58 cm and remains lightweight and handy. Each spade bears the engraved NSN number as well as the inscription "BUND" and is manufactured by renowned producers such as Dönges. Despite possible storage marks such as scratches or paint wear, it is fully functional and proves to be a durable original. Delivery is without a bag.
