The Tikka T3 X models combine precision, robustness, and functionality like few other bolt-action rifles – especially in this price range! The rifle locks like all T3 models with two large locking lugs in the receiver. The barrel is cold-hammered and oscillates completely freely. The caliber range extends from .204 Ruger to .338 Lapua Magnum. The trigger is absolutely crisp. Optionally, a combination trigger with a set trigger or an Atzl fine trigger is available. The detachable magazine made of steel sheet holds 3-6 rounds, depending on the caliber. The 2-position sliding safety has proven to be absolutely reliable. A long, chamber stick made of rust-resistant steel is attached to the chamber, protruding far from the stock. It ends in a pear-shaped knob that is also very easy to grip with gloves. The knob has been hollowed out inside to save weight.
