Training for police and military means training for real-life situations: scenarios, weapons, and handling must be as realistic as possible. Only in this way can the handling of a weapon and shooting be trained in a realistic manner. Since only light protective clothing is required, civilian gun carriers such as bodyguards and undercover investigators also train with real-action markers.

In design and handling, the Glock 17 Gen 5 RAM pistol is hardly distinguishable from the original live firearm. A reversible magazine holder, ambidextrous slide catch, under-barrel rail, and an absolutely non-slip grip are among the highlights of the Glock Gen5 pistol. Of course, the matte black slide, made of CNC machined aluminum, features the original Glock markings.

Rubber balls, pepper balls, chalk balls, and paintballs in caliber .43 are used as ammunition. The balls are not subject to any legal restrictions and do not produce disturbing noise when fired. The semi-automatic drive is powered by the CO2 capsule system using commercially available 12 g capsules. The CO2 capsule is housed together with the ammunition in the removable all-in-one magazine.

In terms of dimensions, the GLOCK 17 Gen5 RAM pistol adheres so closely to its model that it allows for carrying in all common holsters and also accepts original accessories at the grip back attachment.
