Product Description:
The JGR Suppressor by Haenel was developed in cooperation with the Swiss specialist B&T. It fits any barrel with a muzzle thread M15x1 and a caliber of .30 (7.62 mm).
The suppressor has been proven to reduce the peak sound pressure of the muzzle blast by at least 30 dB* and on average by 32.7 dB. Thanks to its robust construction, it easily withstands 30 shots* in series under controlled conditions in the shooting cinema. (*tested with caliber .308 Win.)
Thanks to the overbarrel design, the 200 mm long and 430 g lightweight suppressor only extends the overall barrel length of the weapon by 147 mm. The diameter is.

Note: From a ballistic perspective, the use of suppressors with standard hunting ammunition has no effect – the projectile's performance remains the same. The perception of the surroundings is also not affected. Suppressors reduce recoil as well as noise at the source. This protects the environment (e.g., hunting dogs) from noise damage. They nearly eliminate muzzle flash, making it easier to perceive the drawing and escape direction of the game in low light. The suppressor should always be removed before pulling through the weapon to avoid damage to the baffles. For cleaning and preserving suppressors, penetrating oils are recommended. High-temperature resistant greases are effective for maintaining the threads.
