Steel Action HS .308 barrel length 450mm with GRS stock

The Steel Action "HS" model is a modern straight-pull repeating rifle manufactured in Germany, featuring ergonomic, smooth hand tensioning, an integrated Picatinny rail, and a metal magazine. The system components are nitrocarburized, thus protected against rust and highly wear-resistant.

The models lock with a massive rotating head closure with 3 strong locking lugs made from heat-treated steel.

The Steel Action model HS has been known to European hunters for years – recognized for its unparalleled solid construction, robustness, and reliability, as well as its excellent precision. The HS rifles impress with their thoughtful ergonomics and technology designed for safe, quick, and controllable shot release.

The system components are made from heat-treated steel, and the extremely high wear and corrosion resistance is achieved through an elaborate nitrocarburizing process. The Picatinny rail, milled into the system together with the barrel mount in one tension, guarantees perfect alignment between the barrel and the mount. The precisely, firmly screwed barrel has a standard M15x1 thread. The engineering excellence is evident in every detail of the closure – it can be removed without tools for cleaning and easily disassembled into large parts, significantly facilitating maintenance, inspection, and care.

The steel magazine is double-row and can be changed with one hand, but loading from the top is also possible with the bolt open. It holds 5 cartridges in standard calibers and 4 cartridges in magnum calibers.
