With model No. 7 Outdoor Junior, Opinel offers a model that bridges the gap between the long-successful children's knife with a rounded tip and the range of knives with conventional, pointed blades. At the same time, it draws on experience gained from the models of the Outdoor series.
The knife features a blade made of stainless steel 12C27, with a slightly rounded tip, which can be locked in place using the Virobloc locking mechanism. The handle material used is the proven, fiberglass-reinforced polyamide material from the Outdoor and DIY series. A practical signal whistle is integrated into the handle.
