The large objective diameter of 50 mm ensures high light intake and thus good resolution and image brightness. To extend the operational range of the MINOX NVD 650 to a distance of up to 350 meters, the built-in infrared illuminator can be activated if the existing ambient light is no longer sufficient. A mounting rail allows for the connection of an external illuminator.
