Its wood is particularly coarse-grained and permeable to air, allowing the fine brandy to breathe and mature in exchange with the air. The noble handle scales of the Böker Trapper Asbach Uralt are made from the unique oak wood of venerable Asbach barrels, which, after decades of storage, are now allowed to take on a new purpose. And just like the small barrels, the handle scales of the slipjoint pocket knife bear the brand stamp of the famous distillery. The exquisite collector's version is equipped with a blade made of stainless damask from Chad Nichols, which is hand-forged in the Ripple pattern. It is opened with a nail nick and does not lock. The characteristic bolsters are made of nickel silver and provide a beautiful contrast to the historically significant wood of the scales.
